A 16-year-old girl survived being trapped upside down in a submerged car for three hours after her father used a location-sharing app to find her following a crash near Kent that killed her two friends. The girl's dad used Life360 to locate her most recent coordinates when her phone stopped transmitting, enabling emergency services to reach the overturned vehicle. The driver, who lacked a licence and insurance, had failed to navigate a bend safely in poor conditions.
